Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible for your data
GNC ASCENDED, operator of UAC — Ultimate Ark Championship (uacark.com), is the data controller. For any privacy request, contact uacark@yahoo.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data: email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and an optional display name.
- Game identifiers: your in-game EOS ID(s), and — if you connect them — your Discord and Steam IDs.
- Order data: purchases, items, amounts, and delivery status.
- Consent records: whether and when you accepted our Terms and whether you opted in to marketing.
- Technical data: limited request information (such as IP address) used for security and rate limiting.
3. Why we use it and our legal bases
- To provide your account and deliver purchases — performance of a contract.
- To send essential service emails (receipts, verification, security) — performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
- To send marketing emails — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the service secure (rate limiting, fraud prevention) — legitimate interests.
- To meet legal obligations — such as keeping transaction records.
4. Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies, so no cookie-consent banner is required. If this changes, we will update this policy and request consent where needed.
5. Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers who help us run UAC, including our hosting and database providers, our email provider (Resend), and — when you make a purchase — the payment processor. We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and the EU. Where data leaves your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is active and as needed to comply with legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (subject to records we must legally retain).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email uacark@yahoo.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
UAC is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under that age; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the version number and effective date above will change when we do. See also our Terms of Service.
